I've used MDPC to make cables myself before and the workmanship on this is a step above anything I could ever do. The cerekote and color combo is awesome too. Yeah, it's an expensive cable, but there's no question you get what you pay for here. Easy 5 stars. I will certainly be back. My only critique is that those pretty contrasting marker dots always want to flip face down on the table when used in a typical desk configuration (with the cable running out of the keyboard and off to the left or right of the desk). That has to do with how the pieces of the cable were oriented relative to one another when crimped and can be very fiddly. I wouldn't expect that consideration from anything other than a cable I made myself personally, but Wired has essentially left me with nothing else to suggest beyond the pursuit of absolute perfection.
